The Global Certification Forum (GCF) will host a webinar event on C-V2X certification, where a panel of industry experts will show why certification is key to the actual roll-out of C-V2X systems and how it can be successfully implemented.
The development of automatic and semi-automatic transportation systems will be the basic trend of this decade. Under this trend, the capabilities of ADAS will increase and ADAS will become more common. High-speed wireless communication between vehicles and infrastructure, especially C-V2X communication, is critical to the successful rollout of intelligent transportation systems. Proven interoperability between devices is critical to ensuring the security and reliability of all such systems.
To mark the official launch of C-V2X, experts from industry bodies, equipment suppliers, testing organizations and certification bodies gathered to share their understanding of C-V2X. Topics will include the current automotive and C-V2X standard landscape, the projected global connected mobility market opportunities, the GCF C-V2X certification program supported by 5GAA, and how testing and certification will work in practice. The event will end with group discussion and questions from the audience.
