The DTJ15 and DTJ20 series of XP Power are designed to facilitate installation and operation. They can be installed on the chassis or DIN rail and connected through screw terminals. No additional components are required to protect or be compatible with EMC. This series provides 15 W or 20 W power and is suitable for various applications, including process monitoring and control, industrial robots, elevators and mobile sidewalks, security monitoring, game systems, door control, communication and telemetry, etc.
One of the main characteristics of DC/DC converter is that its wide (4:1) input range covers 9 V (DC) to 36 V (DC) and 18 V (DC) to 75 V (DC), which is very suitable for various input sources, including multiple nominal battery voltages and vehicle power supplies, and does not require multiple DC/DC solutions. The two series provide 14 different input ranges, single output (3.3 V, 5.0 V, 12.0 V, and 15.0 V) and dual output (± 5.0 V, ± 12.0 V, and ± 15.0 V) options. A single output type allows an output voltage reduction of ± 10% to accommodate a voltage drop when wiring with the load located remotely. Remote on/off enables the DC/DC converter to be controlled by software, thus enabling the remote installation to operate effectively.
The reverse polarity protection provides reassurance against accidental incorrect wiring of the equipment during installation, while the built-in input and output protection ensures that the load and DC/DC converter are always protected under any fault conditions. Compliance with EN55,032 Class A without any external components means that no additional work is required during installation to achieve EMC compliance.
The DC-DC converter can operate at temperatures up to+100 ° C, allowing it to be used in harsh environments, or in sealed environments without forced air flow (such as IP67 enclosure). The ability to work at 5000 meters ensures that DTJ15 and DTJ20 can be deployed globally.
