VARTA's main lithium coin battery, the CR1216, is assembled with a special battery that allows the sensor to be smaller and lighter. They provide custom connections to batteries for tiny sensor designs. High pulse load can be generated due to low internal resistance. Button batteries provide up to 15 years of running time and long storage and operation time with low self-discharge. It can withstand a wide temperature range and is UL certified.
