The SC4215 is a high performance positive voltage regulator designed for applications requiring very low input voltages and very low step-down (up to 2 amps). It has a low Vin of 1.6V and programmable output voltage of 0.8V. The SC4215 has an ultra-low dropout, ideal for applications where the Vout is very close to the Vin. In addition, the SC4215 has an enable pin to further reduce power consumption during shutdown.
Typical application circuit
The SC4215 provides excellent adjustment to changes in line, load and temperature. SC4215 is available in the SOIC-8-EDP(Exposed Die Pad) package. The output voltage can be set by external voltage divider or "plug set 0.8V and 2.5V depending on how the ADJ pin is con".
