Guerrilla RF has released the GRF3012 and GRF3016, each consisting of multiple octaves and extending the frequency range from near DC to 12GHz, with overall coverage extending to HF, VHF, UHF, L, S, C and X bands. And two new uWB gain blocks are designed for broadband applications such as instrumentation, microwave backhaul, and general RF and microwave amplification.

At the mid-frequency point of 5GHz, it offers 13.5dB gain, 30dBm OIP3 linearity, 16.5dbm OP1dB compression, and a low noise value of only 4.2dB. Both components are available in pin compatible 1.5mm x 1.5mm, 6-pin DFN package. When operating at 5GHz, the GRF3012 absorbs only 22mA current, but provides 11dB gain, 18dBm OIP3 linearity, 5dBm compression level and 5dB noise value. Its sister product, the GRF3016, improves linearity and compression performance while increasing the 70mA bias level

In describing the motivation behind the development of these new devices, Guerrilla RF CEO and founder Ryan Pratt stated, "The GRF3012 and GRF3016 represent the next natural evolution in our growing family of broadband components. After identifying specific performance requirements for the instrument market, we were able to leverage our deep amplifier core library to create two new devices that provide an ideal mix of flat gain, linear, compression and noise performance. Guerrilla RF was built on this product development approach; We have been leveraging our large core design library while leveraging agile development techniques to improve our products."
