The new RFX OS936M-10 High stability OCXO delivers frequencies up to 500MHz, while still delivering low harmonics, significantly low aging and outstanding Allen bias performance. Precision sc-cut crystals manufactured around the interior provide frequency stability of ±5ppb over operating temperatures ranging from -40 ° c to 65 ° c.
Harmonics in electronic circuits may interfere with communication networks. The device limits harmonics to -35 DBC and secondary harmonics to -40 DBC. Short-term aging was a maximum of ±0.1 PPB per day, while long-term aging was a maximum of ±80ppb per year. Both measurements were taken after 30 days of continuous operation.
In addition, the new model offers excellent phase noise performance with a -150DBC/HZ@ 100kHz frequency doubling design. The device has a one-second Allen deviation of approximately 1.5 x 10-10 for 400MHz output, providing a highly stable frequency source.
Both standard and custom frequencies can be manufactured from 150MHz to 500MHz. Sinusoidal output compatibility combines a choice of 3.3VDC, 5VDC, or 12VDC supply voltages. The new model conforms to formation 3E; Gr-1244-core Phase 2 and GR-63-Core Phase 1 provide long-term 24-hour retention of 3E layers.
The equipment is fully RoHS compliant and meets MIL standard 202F for vibration, mechanical and thermal shock. Use 36mm x 26.5mm sealed packaging, height is only 10mm
Typical applications of GHz systems include satellite links, radars, and high-frequency local oscillators (typically used in first-stage up-converters and down-converters).
