Selig now offers the thinkRF H1000A RF Power Amplifier, a discrete, rugged portable RF amplifier for public safety and emergency communications support operations using 12V automotive power systems or V-mount batteries. With signal gain up to 43dB and adjustment for input power and surge protection, it has been created for reliable use under harsh conditions including vibration, shock, rain and dust in mission-critical situations. Packaged in a compact IP66 rated case (10.5 "x 8.9" x 7.9 ") and light (& LT; 11 bs), fanless equipment is quiet and highly reliable in operation. It covers 715MHz to 2.7ghz mobile wireless band and provides 10W working power output. It is suitable for a wide range of signal sources and operating scenarios and can tolerate output mismatches up to 10:1 standing wave ratio.
This rugged RF amplifier is powered by 12V on-board power or commercially available V-camera batteries. Multiple batteries can be stacked to increase power demand. This can provide uninterrupted operational use for electronic warfare or signals intelligence applications. Hybrid mode operation facilitates uninterruptible power operation when switching from vehicle power to battery power and back. The hot-swappable battery option allows the user to replace one battery at a time. Its versatile power options make it a valuable asset for homeland security, emergency communications, TSCM (Nonlinear junction detection) and rural communications.
The device Ethernet port provides diagnostic capabilities for monitoring voltage, internal cell temperature, current, and rf input power levels. A built-in microprocessor simplifies setup and diagnostics.
