Mouser now carries Espressif Systems' ESP32-S2 MINI module. These modules are ideal for the Internet of Things, wearable electronics and smart home applications. The universal 802.11b/G/N Wi-Fi microcontroller module provides engineers with integrated, low-power, high-performance, single-core soCs in PCB and IPEX antenna configurations.
The module offers 4MB external SPI Flash and encryption accelerator for improved security performance and protection. The module also contains a low-power coprocessor for monitoring a rich set of peripherals including SPI, I2S, UART, I²C and camera interfaces, as well as the module's 43 GPIO.
It provides secure and economical communication, including an Espressif ESP32-S2FH4 Xtensa SoC and a 240MHz LX7 CPU.
The company also provides development tools for these modules, including the Espressif ESP32-S2-Mini-1 development suite and the DFRobot ESP32-S2-DevkitM-1 development board. The module operates in a temperature range from -40 ° C to +125 ° C, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial, consumer and lighting environments.
