SCHURTER introduced MSS wire switch, an embedded button with extremely shallow installation depth and fashionable design elements. MSS provides multi-color side ring lighting to give users visual feedback from the side and front. Greater coverage provides lateral status indication, especially from distance. The non illuminated version was also created to provide visual indication with colored borders.
MSS switch technology is very accurate and suitable for applications that require a certain degree of pressure to trigger the switch function. MSS needs to apply 1-3n light pressure on the surface to produce an appropriate amount of touch to stop unintentional switching. It has an IP rating of IP67 and a lifetime rating of 20 million drives.
