The Texas Instruments LMX1204EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to evaluate the performance of the LMX1204, a four-output, ultra-low additive jitter radio frequency (RF) buffer, divider, and multiplier. The evaluation module can buffer RF clock inputs up to 12.8GHz, multiply by x2, x3, or x4 over the output range of 3.2GHz to 6.4GHz, and divide the input by up to 8.
The Texas Instruments LMX1204EVM includes a separate auxiliary minute for field programmable gate arrays (FPgas) and logic clocks. Each output contains a System Reference (SYSREF) complement with picosecond accuracy and delay tuning capabilities. For a wide clock distribution tree, multiple devices can be synchronized.
