Texas Instruments (TI) WL1837MODCOM8I is one of the two evaluation boards of the TI WiLink 8 combination module series.
WL1837MODCOM8I is compatible with many processors including TI Sitara processors, enabling users to easily add Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to home and building automation, smart energy, gateways, wireless audio, enterprises, wearable devices and more industries And Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
The WiLink 8 module is certified to provide high throughput and extended range with power-optimized design, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence. The company said that TI provides Linux and Android high-level operating system (HLOS) drivers for Sitara AM335x microprocessors (Linux and Android version restrictions apply).
