TE Connectivity's Deutsch 369 connector series. The 369 Series Interconnect is a highly reliable, lightweight, compact, and cost-effective interconnect solution that can withstand vibration and is fully sealed for aerospace and other harsh environment applications. This series is based on the successful ARINC 809 / EN4165 single-module connector and is BACC certified. The 369 series is designed for applications that require fewer contacts and do not require shielding. The connector is available in 3, 6 and 9 aerospace standard AS39029 size 22 contacts. The 369 series is made of high-performance composite materials and is completely sealed for use in areas with high humidity; in addition, it meets the smoke, toxicity and flammability requirements of FAR 25. These connectors provide quick and easy installation and maintenance of cables and a series of separate color-coded keyed enclosures. Each half of the connector can be configured with either male or female contacts, which has the advantage of doubling the possible key combinations and protecting the contacts on the live side of the system. You can use standard tools to remove and reinsert the contacts from the back of the connector. In the case of blind mating or low visibility, the anti-shovel interface prevents damage to the contacts. In addition, the button latch mechanism provides fast forward and audible locking, while the cable tie helps prevent accidental unmating. Suitable applications include: aerospace (including in-flight entertainment and power); agricultural vehicles; coaches and buses; commercial vehicles; forklift trucks; road vehicles; recreational marine applications.
