Silicon Labs' Si70xx relative humidity and temperature sensors. The Si70xx series low-power sensors combine factory-calibrated humidity and temperature sensing elements with a patented analog front-end circuit design, using proven technology to measure relative humidity (RH) and temperature. Highly integrated devices include high-precision sensor elements, I2C or PWM output, on-chip signal conditioning, and high-resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The Si7006 / 13/20/21 series sensors are I2C RH and temperature sensors, while the Si7007 / 22/23 series sensors are PWM RH and temperature sensors. Both series are available in a 3mm x 3mm DFN package, and provide high-precision grades, while consuming low power consumption in a wide operating voltage range of 1.9V to 3.6V. The optional thin, factory-installed filter / cover helps prevent backflow and contamination during operation. Silicon Labs' Si7005 and Si7015 are digital relative humidity and temperature sensors that integrate humidity and temperature sensor elements, ADC, signal processing, calibration data, and I2C host interface. Both devices are available in 4mm x 4mm QFN packages, are reflow solderable, and are pin-to-pin compatible. The Si7050 / 3/4/5 series of I2C digital temperature sensors provide high accuracy while consuming very little current. Its features include ADCs with high accuracy in a wide operating temperature range of -40C to + 125C and a wide voltage range of 1.9V to 3.6V, and with up to 14-bit resolution. The Si7050 / 3/4/5 series sensors are packaged in a 3 mm x 3 mm DFN, which is ideal for applications that only require temperature measurement. Typical applications include measuring humidity, dew point, and / or temperature. The sensors are supported by tools in Silicon Labs' unified development platform, which includes development kits for demonstration, evaluation, and coding. The Si70xx sensors meet the needs of many sensor applications and are suitable for a variety of applications, including instrumentation, microenvironment / data centers, industrial control, thermostats / humidifiers, HVAC / R, medical equipment, and automotive climate control.
