The ISL88031 is a five-group voltage monitor that combines competitive reset threshold accuracy with low power consumption. The device integrates the functions of power-on reset, undervoltage power supply monitoring, reset signal and manual reset.
The ISL88031 device can monitor up to five different voltages in a small 8-LD MSOP package, helping to reduce system costs, reduce board space requirements, and improve the reliability of multi-voltage systems.
The low VDD detection circuit protects the user's system from low voltage conditions by resetting the system when the VDD or any other monitored power supply voltage falls below its respective minimum voltage threshold. The reset signal remains asserted until all of these voltages have returned to the appropriate operating level and are stabilized.
Two of the five voltage monitors are preset to the common power supply, and the user can adjust the threshold voltages of the third, fourth, and fifth voltage monitors to meet specific system level requirements.
