RECOM Power RPZ-0.6, RPZ-1.2, and RPZ-3.0 Buck converters provide 0.6A, 1.2A, or 3A transistors and inductors, respectively, in a thermally enhanced QFN package. These converters have a small footprint of 2mm x 1.5mm or 2.5mm and are ideal for use in low power/low-voltage systems. The RPZ-0.6 type has a low 1mm profile and an input range of 1.8VDC to 5.5VDC, while the RPZ-1.2 converter has a 1.1 mm profile and an input range of 2.5VDC to 5.5VDC. The RPZ-3.0 equipment provides an input range of 2.5VDC to 6VDC for 1.3mm profiles. In all three series, the output current is fully protected against continuous short circuit, output overcurrent and over temperature faults.
