STEGO's small compact thermostats, the KTO 111 and KTS 111, offer a practical innovation: in-line terminals ensure faster, tool-free connections. Small regulators can be quickly connected inside the housing or control cabinet to switch heating and cooling systems. They provide constant climate, prevent the formation of harmful condensation, and allow sensitive electronics to operate trouble-free.
The thermostat uses push-in terminals on the front of the housing to connect to the power supply without tools. The terminals provide constant pressure on the connecting line to ensure safety even when transported through a pre-assembled housing. It keeps the wires from coming loose. Another advantage of the terminals is a two-thirds reduction in installation time due to tool-free wiring. Also with the new thermostat, the company has adapted its regulators to meet the needs of the enclosure manufacturing industry.
The device was developed for protection type IP20 and protection class 2, has a proven service life of 100,000 cycles and is suitable for the following switching currents :250VAC, 120VAC and 24DC to 72V. The maximum surge current is AC 16A and lasts for 10 seconds. The operating temperature of the thermostat ranges from -45 ° C to +80 ° C (-49F to + 176F), and the maximum relative humidity is 90%(non-condensing).switch temperature difference is 7K, error ±4K.
A striking feature of the new thermostat is that it is suitable for employment at high altitudes. Due to the optimized air gap and increased creepage distance, the thermostat can be used up to 5000 m (overvoltage Class II) and 2000 m (overvoltage Class III).
