    Analog Equipment Inc. The ADA4099-1 over-the-top precision op amp, now available from Mouser, provides inputs from −VS to +VS and above, called the over-top. The device provides a bias voltage of 30µV, an input bias current of 10nA, and can operate on single or shunt power supplies from 3.15V to 50V. In addition, the device has a static current of 1.5mA.

  These operational amplifiers provide input stages with strong input protection for harsh environments. The input can withstand differential voltages up to 80V without damaging or reducing DC accuracy. Work input total model circumference from rail to rail and even higher, up to 70V > -- VS, independent of +VS power supply.

    The device can also drive capacitive loads up to 100pF and provide low power shutdowns. The device comes in a standard, six-lead, thin, small form factor transistor (TSOT) package. The unit gain of the device is stable and can drive a load requiring 20mA.

    Typical applications include industrial sensor regulation, power current sensing, battery and power monitoring, front-end amplifiers in harsh environments, and transmitters from 4mA to 20mA.
