Panasonic Automotive Industrial Systems will introduce a series of new current-sense resistors with ultra-low ohmic values (down to 0.5 milliohms) and TCR values as low as 75 ppm. The ERJMS4 and ERJMS6 series components offer high power ratings up to 5W and come in different housing sizes (1206 to 2526). These parts are based on sheet metal bonding technology and have excellent long-term stability. The external resin with high heat dissipation can work in a wide operating temperature range of -65C to + 170C. The company stated that the environmentally friendly equipment is fully RoHS / REACH compliant and designed for industrial electronics and automotive / transport applications, such as engine cooling fans, engine ECUs, braking systems, steering EPS, transmission systems, and more. Stephane Ngandeu Latta, Product Manager, Panasonic Equipment Solutions Business Unit, said: "Our new current sensing resistors are well-suited for applications that require high current measurement accuracy, as well as current detection (short-circuit current detection) in high-current circuits. Thanks to its AEC-Q200, ISO9001 and ISO / TS16949 certifications, these products meet the strictest quality standards today. "
