ShowMeCables announced the launch of a new line of fiber optic transceivers to meet the needs of telecom service providers, the data communications industry and IT departments.
Range options range from 220m to 120km, and three transmitter wavelengths are available - 850nm, 1310nm, and 1550nm. Working data rate covers 100Mbps to 10Gbps. These new fiber optic transceivers are MSA compliant and compatible with most switch and router platforms. They represent a wide range of dimensions, supported distances, and data rates. Available in GBIC, SFP, SFP+ and XFP dimensions.
Most of these new transceivers are designed to withstand the extreme temperatures encountered in many industrial applications. Other options include single - or multi-mode optics and latched LC or non-latched SC connectors.
