Amphenol RF expands the TPV Type A Mini-FAKRA product line with pre-configured cable assemblies. This cable assembly is available in lengths from 6 inches to 12 meters and has a universal Z code that allows it to match all other key codes. These assemblies are fully compatible with existing mini-FAKRA connectors, typically used in automotive applications. Custom cable assemblies and ip-rated sealing solutions are available upon request.
These connectors construct a closed entry cable interface that limits the size of the mating components to prevent contact damage during mating. They also provide a secondary locking mechanism called end position assurance to ensure that the valve body and contacts are retained and fully seated in the housing. These connectors offer reliable electrical performance up to 9GHz, low contact force for secure mating and simple installation. Rugged, impact-resistant bodies enable them to be used in harsh environments such as vehicles and factory settings.
These components also provide a straight four-port mini-FAKRA jack on both ends and are created in the low-loss TFC-302LL.
