Microchip's Fourth Generation In-Circuit Debugger

Microchip Technology Inc. has released MPLAB ICD 4, an online programming and debugging tool for PIC microcontrollers and dsPIC digital signal controllers.
According to Microchip, "MPLAB ICD 4 includes all the features of the MPLAB ICD 3 debugger, and faster processors and the addition of 2Mbyte buffer memory have resulted in a two-fold increase in product speed."
Microchip's appearance is clearly satisfactory, pointing to a durable black ice ball-shaped case with a brushed aluminum case on the top and an LED light strip to indicate the debugging status.
