AH1807 is a medium sensitivity micro power full polarity Hall effect switching IC designed for battery powered consumer products, home appliances, and industrial devices such as smart meters for magnetic tamper detection. Available in SC59, SOT553 and SIP-3L.

Based on two Hall effect plates and chopper stabilized architecture, the AH1807 provides a reliable solution across its entire range of work. To support battery and low-power applications, the design is optimized to operate in the 2.5V to 5.5V power supply range and consume only 24µW at 3V power.


Typical Applications Circuit

                                        

Single open leakage output can be switched on with a north or South Pole switch of sufficient strength. When the magnetic flux density perpendicular to the package (B) is greater than the operating point (Bop), the output is switched on (pull down). When B is below the release point (Brp), the output is turned off. When there is no magnetic field, the output will remain off.
