The ISL6744A is a low-cost, primary, dual-ended controller for full - and half-bridge topologies using random DC/DC converters. It is a voltage type PWM controller suitable for half - bridge and full - bridge power supply. It provides precise switching frequency control, adjustable soft start, precise dead-time control, dead-time as low as 35ns, and overcurrent off.
The ISL6744A is the same as the ISL6744, but optimized for high-noise environments. Low startup and operating currents allow for easy bias in AC/DC and DC/DC applications. This advanced BiCMOS design features low startup and operating currents, adjustable switching frequencies up to 1MHz, 1A FET drivers, and very low propagation delay for rapid response to overcurrent failures
