      The U2J dielectric class I surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) of KEMET (YAGEO) are composed of a robust and proprietary U2J based metal electrode (BME) dielectric system, providing industry-leading performance for high AC current resonance applications under high voltage.

     By using KEMET's proprietary U2J dielectric, this series provides designers with a surface mount solution with very low ESR and ESL's high AC current capability. This will result in a minimum i2R heat loss, which means higher power conversion efficiency.

     Compared with Class II dielectric materials, U2J is insensitive to capacitance loss under DC bias voltage and retains more than 99% of nominal capacitance under full rated voltage. KEMET's automotive capacitors meet the stringent AEC-Q200 qualification requirements of the Automotive Electronics Commission. From - 55 ° C to+125 ° C, the capacitance variation is limited to - 750 ± 120 ppm/° C. These devices are lead-free (Pb), comply with RoHS and REACH standards, and can withstand multiple lead-free (Pb) solder reflow profiles.
