In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the performance of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), the functions of various cameras, sensors and other in-vehicle components have become more and more powerful. Therefore, the in-vehicle network needs to process a large amount of information data at a high speed, and Ethernet is gradually being used for transmission between in-vehicle ECUs (Electronic Control Unit: electronic control unit). In order to transmit signals without delay, the connector harness must not only support high-speed transmission, but also have higher-quality transmission performance.

In this context, the Japanese avionics industry has developed a board-to-wire connector "MX74 series" with high-quality transmission performance. This series of products supports 100BASE-T1 of the IEEE802.3bw standard. This product is compatible with UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair: Unshielded Twisted Pair) cables and contributes to the lightweight of automobile bodies.

It also supports differential transmission of the vehicle Ethernet standard 100BASE-T1, conforms to the Definitions for Communication Channel Ver.2.0 transmission characteristic standard released by OPEN Alliance SIG, supports UTP cables, only provides connectors on the socket side, and 2 pins have 2 polarity key changes , different tones, suitable for both market and vehicle Ethernet connection parts, etc.
