Review Display Systems has introduced a highly versatile USB control and monitoring interface board. The intelligent USB-IO board provides comprehensive I/O (input/output) ports that can be easily controlled and monitored using a single USB serial interface.

The company implements control and monitoring of external hardware and systems such as relays, actuators, smart sensors, lighting and motors. Created and developed circuit boards for embedded systems, Iot applications, and standalone devices

The board's user interface is controlled via a USB serial connection to the main controller or an embedded computer. The universal 16-bit Texas Instruments MSP430 MCU is provided, allowing the user to fully control and query all onboard INPUT/output ports, interfaces, and sensors.

"Many embedded computers are not designed to support universal I/O (GPIO)," says Liam Layton, application engineer at Review Display Systems. This lack of easily accessible I/O therefore poses challenges for embedded applications when trying to control and monitor external hardware and systems. The new RDS USB-IO board overcomes these barriers by providing an easy-to-use interface, as well as many different I/O options."

SensConnect is a fully user configurable hardware-centric data collection platform that provides monitoring, analysis and control of systems through digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. A typical solution consists of three separate elements, where monitoring, analysis and control systems are combined to provide practical, efficient digital intelligence. And is part of SensConnect's product portfolio.
