Amphenol RF has expanded its industry-leading 12G product portfolio, combining the pre configured HD-BNC cable assembly with the popular Belden 4855R cable type to provide panel mounted jack connectors. Panel installation interconnection cancels the requirement for panel adapter and represents cost and space saving in design. 12G SDI products are used in various 4K and UHD broadcasting applications, including digital signage and video editing.
The working frequency of the 75 ohm module is up to 12GHz. One end uses a straight bulkhead jack, and the other end uses a straight plug. RF connector is designed with brass nickel plating, beryllium copper and phosphor bronze contact gold plating. This robust solution meets all SMPTE standards and can be obtained in multiple lengths and customized according to requirements
The pre configured HD-BNC cable assembly is smaller than the traditional BNC cable assembly, but has the same functions and advantages. The familiar bayonet coupling mechanism provides quick and safe fit and release. Reliable 12G performance makes these components very suitable for studio patch panels and 4K-UHD products that require high bandwidth.
