RECOM now offers through-hole, 1/32 brick footprint, non-isolated DC-DC-RPMA-4.5 and RPMA-8.0 with 4.5A and 8A output ratings, respectively. Each section offers a wide 9-53V input and can be fine-tuned, with fully adjustable outputs from 5-30V (RPMA-4.5) or 3.3-16.5V (RPMA-8.0).
Cost-effective components provide very high efficiency, up to 98%, with full constant load operating temperature of +60 ° C, convection cooling only, derating/airflow of +85 ° C, depending on input/output conditions. Switching control is combined with remote output sensing. The equipment has the functions of input undervoltage, output overcurrent, short circuit and overtemperature protection. The operation reliability is also very high, with MTBF over 82M hours for part 4.5a and 31M hours for part 8A.
Each unit comes in an industry standard open-shelf 1/32 brick format and measures 19.1mm x 23.4mm x 9.6mm, providing an ultra-compact solution for high-power operations.
