The device is part of the Falcon family of automotive digital radio coprocessors. It provides DRM demodulation and source decoding for audio and data transmission of AM signals. It supports all operating modes (modes A through D) of the AM digital radio standard DRM. It is a highly integrated device that requires only a few external components. T
The device uses an integrated oscillator or an external reference clock to generate an internal clock from an external crystal and supports a selectable host control interface (SPI or I2C). Together with the company's Si479xx tuner, it provides a complete and cost-effective DRM solution for AM.
