Atmel's SMART SAM V71 Xplained Ultra evaluation kit is designed to evaluate ATSAMV71Q21 and other Atmel ARM Cortex-M7 based microcontrollers.
Atmel ’s SMART ARM-based automotive microcontrollers are dedicated to the connection of audio amplifiers, telematics control units, or host car infotainment. The microcontroller series based on SAM V ARM Cortex-M7 provides the best combination of connection interfaces including Ethernet AVB, MediaLB, USB and CAN-FD, and the highest performance ARM Cortex- which can provide up to 1500 CoreMark M core.
The SAM V70 is designed for MediaLB connectivity and advanced audio processing by utilizing a unique multi-port memory architecture and advanced Cortex-M7 DSP functions. The company said that in addition to combining Ethernet AVB and MediaLB connections, the SAM V71 also reflects the functionality of the SAM V70 series.
