Analog Devices 1.1A, low noise, low differential linear voltage regulator

Technology Cover
Post-datum: 2023-02-04, Analog Devices Inc.

The LT1965 series is a low noise, low drop linear regulator. The device provides A 1.1A output current with a typical drop voltage of 310mv. The adjustable version has a operating silent current of 500 μA, reduced to &lt when shut down; 1 μA. Good static current control; It does not rise on exit as many other regulators do.

Typical Application

The LT1965 series has fixed output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and adjustable reference voltages of 1.20V. Package products include the 5-lead TO-220, 5-lead DD-Pak as well as the heat-enhanced 8-lead MSOP and the low-size (0.75mm) 8-lead 3mm x 3mmDFN.

Typical Applications

Paralleling of Regulators for Higher Output Current

Adjustable Current Source

The LT1965 regulator has very low output noise, making it ideal for sensitive RF and DSP power applications. The output voltage ranges from 1.20V to 19.5V. LT1965 voltage regulator stable output capacitance as low as 10 μF. The internal protection circuit includes battery reverse protection, folding current limiting, thermal limiting and reverse current protection.
