Saelig Company, Inc. now offers Siglent's SDG7000A series of dual independent channel arbitrary waveform generators that can generate a variety of test signals, including CW, pulse, noise, PRBS mode and 16-bit digital bus mode. The optional digital bus feature creates 16-bit LVTTL or LVDS outputs at bit rates from 1ubps to 1Gbps. Combining analog channels with a digital bus creates synchronized mixed-signal outputs for complex test situations. It has up to 1GHz bandwidth, 5Gsa/s sampling, 14-bit vertical resolution, and 512Mpts storage depth. Arbitrary waveforms are generated by sampling rates of 0.01Sa/s to 2.5GSa/s and vector signals of 500MSa/s.

The pulse waveform can have low jitter pulses with a minimum width of 1ns and a minimum edge of 500ps. The rise/fall edge is independent and finely tuned. The series also supports complex signals, including modulation, Lin /log scanning and burst, as well as two-channel replication/coupling/tracking and stacking. The output can be differential or single-ended, and a ±12VDC offset can be added to the 24Vpp analog output, with a maximum output range of ±24V (48V). This large output swing eliminates the need for external power amplifiers and extends the range of application. Phase locking can calibrate the phase of two outputs.

All models also include high precision frequency counters. Instrument control is simplified with a 5-inch capacitive touch screen, external mouse and keyboard support, and remote Web server operation. SDG7000A series :SDG7032A (350MHz), SDG7052A (500MHz), SDG7102A (1GHz). Optional vector signal generation includes modulation modes such as ASK, PSK, FSK and QAM, while accompanying EasyIQ software facilitates vector signal creation and editing.

The series supports up to 1024 arbitrary bands, each band can be set up to 65535 repeats. When switching between segments, the output moves seamlessly from the last point of the previous segment to the first point of the next segment without generating idle levels, suitable for a series of waveform switching for challenging applications.
