Cognex Corporation has introduced the DataMan 280 series of stationary bar code readers designed to address a variety of ID applications, including one-dimensional, two-dimensional and direct part marking code applications in manufacturing and logistics.

It enables users to configure multiple devices at once and start trending important system performance metrics in minutes. When performance degradations are detected, facility managers can identify trends and intervene quickly.
Multiple readers can be deployed together for applications that increase field of view and high-speed multifaceted scanning.
