The new universal cantilever racks from Metcase allow electronics without built-in 19" fittings to be quickly and easily installed in racks or cabinets. The new 2U racks are compliant with DIN 41494 and IEC 60297-3 standards. They are suitable for a variety of applications, including networking and communication equipment, sound and studio systems, industrial computers, laboratory instruments and industrial controls.
Slots on the bottom of the C4 mild steel shelf facilitate ventilation within the rack. Shelves in tough powder polyester paint in anthracite (RAL 7016) or light grey (RAL 7035) as standard. Available in two standard sizes - 88.1mm x 482.6mm x 280mm and 88.1mm x 482.6mm x 400mm - custom sizes are available upon request.
The new shelves are part of their accessories range and are a replacement for their COMBIMET T aluminum 19-inch shelf box. Unlike the shelves, these cases have a front panel and a rear lip. 2U and 3U height standard (88.1mm × 482.6mm × 365mm and 132.5mm × 482.6mm × 365mm). Standard colours are light grey (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005).
