Abracon introduces the ClearClock series of low jitter active crystal solutions

Abracon ClearClock series active crystal oscillator meets the design performance requirements of next-generation communications, cloud computing, storage and RF applications. This series of crystal oscillator products lead the industry in low power performance, and the typical clock jitter value can be as low as 80fs. In addition, its phase noise performance can also meet the requirements of FPGA and IC for serial data rate above 56Gbps. The ClearClock family includes phase locked loop (PLL) and tertiary overtone solutions in a minimum package size of just 2.5mm x 2.0mm.

   

The AX7 series has excellent rms clock jitter performance (typical value 119fs) and power consumption of 130mW. The AX7 series can support any frequency output in the 50MHz to 2.1GHz range and maintain the same performance.the relatively small AX5 series size of 5 x 3.2mm is able to meet the requirements of next-generation networking and RF applications. The series leads the industry in low power consumption, while jitter typical values as low as 125fs, ideal for clock serial data links above 56Gbps.

The new AK2A, AK2, AK3A, AX3 and AK5 families have a typical power consumption of 30mW at operating voltages of 1.8V, bringing industry-leading low-power performance to low-noise differential output crystal oscillators. The simplified cubic overtone architecture of the series avoids multiplication based on the phase locked loop (PLL), resulting in a much lower overall power consumption than other products of the same type.
