Chatillon has introduced a new generation of digital dynamometers :DF3 series. A rugged rubber keyboard provides a single touch operation corresponding to the options displayed on the screen and guides its user throughout the operation. The intuitive user interface, coupled with many advanced features, makes this series ideal for users of dynamometers who want an easy-to-use dynamometer that will help them optimize their process and save time. The new series features a unique ergonomic design that ensures stable grip, providing a large, easy-to-read full-color screen display, clear readings and ICONS, and simple navigation.
Some options to help users become more productive in forced testing include test Settings, where users can pre-define test Settings, automatically save test results, and automatically export those results for further analysis. Up to 40 hours of battery life extends the life of handheld devices and reduces the need to charge them.
In addition, the series of dynamometers supports a mix of standard measurement functions, including normal and peak readings, fracture detection, load averaging, high/low limits, set values, statistical results, pass/fail results, load cell drive and direction.
The software interface connects directly to the dynamometer, allowing automatic testing and recording of test charts and data using a PC. The new Version of ForceTest offers an enhanced interface, filtering options, robust raw data collection and display, and a complete library of test result options.
The software is included with the dynamometer or can be purchased separately. The new series is offered in two models, available in several capacities and at 30kHz sampling rates. With the new meters, the company also introduced ForceTest 3.0, an updated version of its force-measurement software.
