The LVT16244B device is a 16-bit buffer and line driver designed for low-voltage (3.3v) VCC operation, but with the ability to provide a TTL interface to a 5 v system environment. These devices can be used as four 4-bit buffers, two 8-bit buffers, or one 16-bit buffer.
These devices provide a true output and symmetrical active Low output enablement (OE) input. When the VCC ranges from 0 to 1.5 V, the device is in high impedance state during power-on or power-off. However, to ensure high impedance above 1.5V, OE should be connected to VCC by pull-up resistance; The minimum value of resistance is determined by the current sinking capacity of the driver.
Logic diagram (positive logic)
These devices are fully designated for hot swap applications and use I to turn off and power on 3 status. I disconnect the circuit to disable the output, preventing destructive current backflow through the device when they are turned off. The power-on 3-state circuit sets the output to a high impedance state during power-on and power-off to prevent driver conflict.
